Adblue tank is full. This same situation accured 2 months ago but the warning just reset itself through normal driving after about 15o miles. This time however it's not self clearing/healing. I have had logged faults on the system namely adblue heater element and Nox sensor 2 ( P229F00 ). I've been able to reset these and they have remained off.
AdBlue Home Refill. Here's how i handle the refill of my AdBlue tank on my 09. Cut the bottom off of a .5 gal. empty AdBlue bottle and use it as a funnel. I buy the 2.5 gal bottles, then use the .5 gal as the perfect funnel. Screw on, push down and the fluid flows right out (hold a paper towel over the top of the bottle as you push it down

Volkswagen says you can expect the first AdBlue warning message to appear at 3,000 to 4,000 miles in a Touran or 6,000 to 7,000 miles in a Touareg. Peugeot is more optimistic, claiming the AdBlue will need to be topped up every 12,500 miles.
