1. farmvilletwo • 2 yr. ago. Pantheon IS a god but the champion called pantheon isnt actually THE pantheon. It's atreus, a vessel used by pantheon, who was the aspect of war before aatrox killed him. Basically atreus was a man who could take a few hits in battle so pantheon chose him as his body in runeterra.
The "League of Legends" was actually an institution designed to solve conflicts between nations on a magical battlefield overseen by special mages called Summoners. This was to prevent another Rune War which could have destroyed the entire planet. I really liked this old lore.According to League of Legends lore, K'Sante endured a great deal of stress. From his dreams of being the greatest monster hunter in Nazumah to his desire to prove himself to his people andHonestly this kind of stuff makes me sad because they should have a dedicated lore team thats pumping out consistent content. The priorities of Riot is so backwards because it doesn't make any sense how you're trying to expand the league of legends universe but not have the written solid air tight content to do it.
This means that a key part of Skarner's lore is very deeply entrenched in a major region of Runeterra. Which would normally be a good thing, except for the fact that Skarner's ultimate goal seems to be to take away from that region a key piece of its aesthetic.
